The world used to recognize Tanzania as only a venue to shoot films because of its wildlife and scenic beauty, but they are now realizing that Tanzania has got what it takes to also make their mark in the International Film Industry. Over the years, the Tanzania movie industry has continually improved and is now coming up with a lot of great films. Written and filmed by five young people who are part of the SPW Youth Talents group – a group of young performing artists set up by the organisation SPW Tanzania. The film is a series of seven ‘vichekesho’ - or short comedy sketches – which all provide insight into Tanzanian culture. Kilumbi tz media.
